Music Studies

Piano

First piano studies with Eleni Micheli in Serres and subsequently at “North--London College of Music” in Thessaloniki with Georgios Thymis. Graduation in 1997 by taking the FLCM diploma.

Theory

• “Theory of Harmony” diploma with P.Mavroudis at the Macedonian Conservatory of Thessaloniki.
• LMusLCM diploma with K.Siembis at “North--London College of Music” in Thessaloniki.

Musicology

• Undergraduate studies at the Department of Music Studies, School of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Thesis written under the supervision of Dimitrios Giannou, with subject “The Twelve-tone Works of Igor Stravinsky” (2001).
• Doctoral studies started in July 2006 with subject “Zufall und Determination in der westeuropäischen Musik 1950-70” under the supervision of C.M.Schmidt at the Technical University of Berlin (Technische Universität Berlin, Fachgebiet Musikwissenschaft).

Composition

At first with K.Siembis at “North--London College of Music” in Thessaloniki and subsequently at the University of the Arts in Berlin (Universität der Künste Berlin) with W.Zimmermann; diploma in 2002.

Mathematics

Undergraduate studies at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Institut für Mathematik. “Diplom” in October 2008.
